Severe Eczema with Dr T! EU Privacy Policy – action needed; a Shakti Dance Drama; Vaidya Mishra’s Newsletter May 31, 2018, # 21, Vol 8

As with everything else, we are seeing an epidemic of babies presenting to our office with severe eczema throughout the whole body, painfully itchy, making them constantly weep. 

Vaidya Mishra, whose specialty was Dermatology, told me that in the early childhood years it is very important for the children to develop measles, mumps, chicken pox, and rubella. He said that the babies pick up toxins from their mothers while they are still in the womb, and that during the early childhood years these toxins get discharged during each of these diseases.

Though they are not fun to go through, they do help the child detox through the skin. In addition, going through the disease in this way confers a lifetime immunity to the disease, as opposed to the temporary acquired immunity you get when trying to immunize for the same disease. This is why children may still get pertussis, chicken pox, or any of the other infantile diseases, even though after immunization.

Immunization against measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox, not only prevents the toxins from exiting the infant’s body, allowing them to settle deeper within the physiology – as in the bone marrow – but the immunizations can be toxic as they come with their own unique array of numerous chemicals in each of the shots (see the last post I wrote on vaccinations for all the ingredients found in a vaccine). In addition, more often than not, the immune system of these infants is highly reactive as it has been been disrupted not only by the chemicals/preservatives in the immunizations, but by the frequency and great number of mandatory immunizations they have received. This first and foremost destroys the friendly bacteria in the gut. Then the liver functioning – in ayurvedic terms – is disrupted from so many toxins overloading it. Finally, all the chemicals in the immunization shots go to lodge themselves deep in the bone marrow – in this tissue, it is harder to evacuate them and they can lie dormant there for years even decades before manifesting as chronic ailments that will be hard to treat. In addition, the T cells, (which are born in the bone marrow but mature in the thymus gland) become depressed under the influence of these chemical shots – if you remember, the T cells circulate around the body looking to attack viruses attached to cells. 

Once the immune system is so disturbed in so many ways, it becomes hyper-reactive and reacts to/is unable to process foods, pollen, dust, and even some functions in the body get disrupted (and manifest as an autoimmune condition). This is one of the primary reasons why food allergies and autoimmune diseases have increased over 500% over the last 100 years. So it is no wonder so many babies are developing eczema as their skin’s innate intelligence is trying desperately to rid the body of these toxins. 

And, as in this case, if the child is formula-fed, it becomes an added burden of chemicals for the skin to discharge.

Vaidya always taught me how to safely and effectively re-direct toxins away from the skin unto the proper detox/evacuation channels; along with that, he taught me how to pacify the reactivity of these toxins through different herbal protocols; and, in parallel, to cool the accumulation of heat in the liver. When these things are done together, the results are undeniable. 

However, it is first crucial to regrow the friendly bacteria in the gut, as these little “yoginis” – as Vaidya used to call them – keep the immune system intelligent so it doesn’t spiral out of control causing food allergies and autoimmune reactions. We use Protren’s baby probiotics or teach the mothers to make their own homemade yogurt (if the babies are old enough to eat yogurt – one year old or more, and aren’t allergic to milk or milk products).

In addition, we have several creams, such as Vaidya’s Purifying Cream as well as the Deep Moisturizing Cream. For infants, we usually dilute these with half coconut oil for local application on the skin. However, many of these babies are so highly reactive that putting ANYTHING on the skin can be a problem, as the skin is loaded with toxins and highly reactive. So many times we have to fix these problems by treating from the inside only.

Don’t be discouraged if you are treating these problems in babies and they initially get worse. At first, it can be a little “bumpy” as the toxins start being released— but once the immune system settles down and the toxic load decreases, the eczema will slowly but surely go away.

Again, we can thank Vaidya Mishra for saving these poor babies (and their parents) from life-long extreme discomfort, itching, and heartbreak. It is so satisfying to understand why these problems arise and realize we have all the tools to treat them. Thanks to Vaidya’s foresight for introducing transdermal creams and herbal nectar drops. Infants and babies could not possibly drink herbal teas or take herbal tablets, even if crushed and put in food. Not only that, their livers, which are already extremely overheated from all the toxic overload, would not tolerate crude herbs, which would only worsen the eczema. 

Always keep in mind — the skin is a reflection of the overall health and condition of the blood and liver. In cases such as these, you can literally see before your very eyes just how toxic babies’s bodies are nowadays. And Vaidya always told me this: the toxins you are seeing on the skin are the toxins that were stuck in the bone marrow. It is important and essential that they come out. Using cortisone creams only blocks and stops the detox process, so the skin may feel and look better temporarily, but the underlying problem persists and worsens.The eczema will not only return once the cortisone is stopped, but it will supress the symptoms, so that if we continue administering cortisone, toxins will only keep accumulating and get pushed deeper into the tissues and the physiology, giving them greater sway for disturbing the immune system, eventually possibly manifesting as acquired untreatable allergies and autoimmune diseases later in life.
