Where Ayurveda & Vastu Meet!

Ancient vedic culture is timeless, because as Vaidya Mishra used to say, it offers the blueprint of the universe. The seers that cognized its foundational precepts and transmitted it to generations to come, are the forefathers of ALL nations on earth! The language of the vedas flows through the Nature and the laws that create, sustain, and perpetuate life on earth and in the universe. There are so many fields of vedic specialization. But did you know that all these fields intersect and meet and complete each other in so many ways?

In this newsletter, we show you a few points about how Ayurveda and Vastu – the vedic science of architecture and home design – aligns with Ayurveda, the science of health and happiness.

Vaidya Mishra was an unmatched expert in Ayurveda, and many of his ayurvedic teachings and insights found their way into the work of vastu expert Sherri Silverman.

Sherri Silverman is a best-selling author, renowned expert in Vastu, and exquisite artist. She is a student of all things veda! Ayurveda has played an important role in her personal and professional life. She met Vaidya Mishra many years ago and attended many of his courses. In her famous book, “Vastu: Transcendental Home Design in Harmony with Nature,” she applies many of Vaidya Mishra’s ayurvedic teachings. They are simple powerful applications.

Here are some key passages from her book where she discusses and incorporates ayurveda into vastu, and shows how these sister sciences can help us all in so many ways. For example, the science of marma points. Vaidya Mishra has us given exclusive knowledge on the science of marma points. But did you know that you can also locate marma points in your home?
