ith the first day of Spring. Vaidya discussed the general lines of SVA Detox on the occasion of the publication of his Detox Manual with Recipes. He highlighted the importance of identifying the types of toxins you are targeting on evacuating, then confirming the channels that you will detox through, and only then proceeding, in order to have optimal detox. After Vaidya’s talk, we held a question and answer session for all attendees and then headed out to have a SVA break with delicious goodies made in-house. Thank you Daria for the lovely cookies, and thank you Vaidya for the delicious sprouted Mung salads, sweet and savory “poha” recipes, and so much more!
Attendees who were not familiar with Vaidya’s SVA food items got to savor all the SVA chutneys and preserves, as well as Mum’s Masala and Soma Salt.
Attendees got to share news and views with each other as well as chat with Vaidya Mishra directly in a laid-back joyful atmosphere. If you were unable to attend and want to catch up on Vaidya Mishra’s talk, no worries, we have now posted it on his website and you may download it for free anytime HERE.We are already looking forward to our next SVA Cafe, on April 17, 2014. Our theme for the next Cafe will be
SVA Marma and Samadhi. We will discuss what Samadhi is according to Ayurveda, a very concrete and real experience of inner bliss and total physiological rest that results in great calm and renewal. We will also have a practicum and use specific SVA formulations on specific marma points to garner the experience of Samadhi then and there. Mark your calendars for the third Thursday of next month, April 17, 2014, and join us from 3-6pm at Vaidya Mishra’s Prana Center.
Our team is looking forward to welcoming you and sharing the bliss!
